Exciting discovery

So we found out the other day that our neighbor Pepe, recently built two small apartments above his house. This is Pepe and the stairs going up to the apartment, and a look inside. Two mercy in action girls have been renting them. The reason I am so excited about is is that since we have been here pepe's situation looks pretty tough, as he has a 16 year old daughter in school and 27 year old son who had cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheel chair. His sons name is Jobel and he is very sweet. Pepe lives on a small pension, and washes clothes all day, as Jobel has lot's of laundry. So we thought it seemed impossible for his situation to change much, and leaves a lot of responsibility on his daughter. One of the students is leaving at the end of may so we thought we should rent his apartment for the next year, this been a way of supporting him! The apartment is straight above our heads and is basically a hotel room size with a kitchen and bathroom. When you come to visit rather then sleeping on the slanted couch or in the kitchen you'll be able to sleep in your own room. Unless of course you were looking forward to the first arrangement. The apartment costs about 65 dollars per month. We are hoping that those of you who plan on coming could prepay for a portion of the year. In this way we are supper excited to support this family as pepe and roberta are getting less mobile in their elder years. On a lighter note Pepe brings us much joy as he often sings old school christian songs and dances, sometimes only in is shorts!!!
