Prayers Answered!

We met a women who was clearly almost full term, she was a street vender. She was selling pirated cds and dvds on the sidewalk. We stopped and told her about our clinic and as we explained we noticed four other pregnant ladies leaning in and listening. The initial women we stopped to talk to informed us that her baby was in a breech position and she needed a CS. This is especially sad for someone who can not afford to have one. They are often around 1000$ and she is lucky to make 5$ in a day. We told her check ups are free and we could get her vitamins and check her baby. She said she would come tomorrow morning. I had a real burden for her so we prayed at supper and then asked a few people to pray that the baby would turn, and she would be spared having to pay for a CS. I felt like I really did not expect God to act but was almost angered that He wasn't going to. Nonetheless I continued to pray and plead with him to act on this poor women's behalf. Praise God for answered prayer as she came in for her check up and the baby was turned. The day we saw her on the street her belly was very wide and round, and Theresa said it was normal the next morning. Thank you for praying!
