My days are getting busier by the day. Our little clinic's door seems to be always opening and closing. If there isn't a patient at the clinic who needs to be looked after, then it seems as though we are needed elsewhere in the community. I am getting to know every corner of the community and visiting many houses, making house calls. Today, for example, we went to a patient's house intending to only visit her and ended up seeing 2 other women on the spot. These 2 women were women we had never met before but want to deliver with us and receive prenatal care. I am really enjoying meeting so many beautiful pregnant women and their families and offering whatever care I can to them. They are genuinely thankful and I am so honored to be part of their lives at this time!! I have been to 10 births so far and am trying to soak up as much as I can.
