We are alive!

Well, its been almost 2 weeks out at the land, and we are still loving it!
We had a bamboo pad made so that we had a level place to put our tent up, which left us suspended about 6 feet above ground.
The first night we went to bed, it was amazing because we realized that we didn't need electricity after all.....the moonlight was light enough to lead us up the hill to our tent! As we were lying in our beds, we looked up through the cashew tree to see the full moon with the stars around through the screened roof.
As you probably can tell, we are loving it up there. We have had no rain yet......
The building of our house has been on a bit of hold since we cant make our minds up about what materials to build with. We have had a lot of advice as to how to build. Everyone has a different opinion and we are sifting through to see what is best for us as it is the side of the mountain and we have heard that there are really strong winds and rain at times!
The 2 pictures added are one of our tent and one of Nasira with a Chihuahua from the pet store...that one is for you, stacia. She was so in love when she saw it:)

Okay, that is one wild home/tent you've got there on the side of that mountain... the fun police is feeling a little worried! Happy to hear you guys are having a great time though! I miss you!!!!

Wow, you guys are so adventurous... love it! (though that tent home does look a bit precarious to me, ha ha). Glad to hear you are doing well.
