Maiya and I went with six others into the mountains for a overnight trip last week. It was some great hiking, and beautiful views. Mostly it was super interesting to see how our Aeta friends live off the land. We cooked rice in a piece of bamboo on the open fire, as well as used bamboo for bowls and coffee cups!! We had a wonderful time and even got a little chilled.
