Whats new?

We are finally in our house now! Well at least one bedroom of our house. It is a little tight but we are loving the roof and having our own space again. Things are progressing everyday. We just got a flushing toilet working!! Hurray! It usually works accept for the days that the water pressure is too much for our pipes and something blows up before our tank can fill. We had our first big flood the other day as it rained really hard for a few days. The river covered our road about a 1.5 ft than it went down really fast as the tide in the ocean sucked it out. The team from the US arrived and have been busy adjusting and fixing things on the land. Our friends from Dawson are also here helping us with mechanics and digging trenches ect.. They have been such hard workers and a big blessing to us. Sorry for our lack of communication as our internet has been lent out. We should have it back in a few days! Thank you all for you ongoing love and support for us. I plan a trip to a more remote village this week. They have no school and are about 2.5hrs walk away from us. Who knows in the future maybe we will be hiking in to teach!! I will let you know how my trip goes. We have a medical mission there next week and want to make sure it is a safe trail in.
